What is ARIA?

ARIA is MINA's emotion-aware master orchestrator and Compute Router. The brain that routes citizen inputs to the right seed agent based on intent and emotional state.

Compute Router

ARIA decides edge vs cloud at runtime:

• Personal citizen data → stays on device always
• Capability gap detected → anonymised signal to cloud
• Growth Mode at night → triggers ROAR Loop
• Edge Mode (offline) → all agents run locally

Detects valence, arousal, dominance:

• anxious: V+0.25 A+0.52 D+0.35
• distressed: V+0.22 A+0.48 D+0.30
• happy: V+0.80 A+0.58 D+0.62
• neutral: V+0.50 A+0.38 D+0.50

ARIA routes differently across citizen life stages: Child → Student → Adult → Patient → Senior

Autonomous Growth

ARIA detects its own capability ceiling. When a request cannot be fulfilled:

1. Logs gap to gap_log.jsonl
2. Fires ntfy to ROAR Loop
3. Responds: "I'm learning this capability"
4. Overnight Watch builds the solution
