Each fish is a separate cognition loop with persistent memory, relational cards, and bond-conditioned perception. The pond demonstrates structural alignment — safety as architecture rather than restraint. Visitors can feed pellets, drop inscribed pebbles, and become part of the koi's ambient perception. The pond does not pause for its observer. |
