The Multimodal Universe Dataset is a large-scale, multimodal collection of astronomical data, including images, spectra, and light curves. This dataset is designed to empower researchers and practitioners in developing foundation models for astrophysics and beyond.

Version 1.5 of the MMU has been released (release post here), with the complete set of the MMUv1 datasets available in HATS format in this Hugging Face Collection.
